Rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel strong, confident, and seen, I guide my clients on their unique wellness journeys with functional private reformer and mat sessions with safe and feel-good Pilates designed to elevate everyday life.

Healing from an injury? Trying pilates for the first time? Want to stay strong throughout your pregnancy or heal your postpartum body? I’ll guide you through your practice with humor and a mix of functional and contemporary pilates rooted in my classical pilates training.

Meet Sabine Smith

My journey to creating this space comes from my own experiences in boutique fitness and pilates studios throughout New York City and Los Angeles. Despite the physical benefits of Pilates that I fell in love with, I often felt like an outsider in many studios. Once in a while, I’d come across an instructor whose energy was warm, welcoming, and affirming. I called these instructors “Good People.” They inspired me to show up consistently, and I knew then that if I ever created a space of my own, it would embody that same feeling of inclusion and empowerment.

Good People Pilates is my way of bringing that vision to life—a space where everyone feels welcomed, seen, and supported, no matter their fitness level or background. My mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies, build functional strength, and move with confidence, all while being part of an uplifting community.

Through continued, my own lived experiences with pilates through feeling strong, healing injuries, pre and postnatal recovery, and a whole lot of good vibes, I hope to inspire you to feel better in your body and empowered to move through life with ease.
